Spring field hockey is played in a 7v7 format (6 field players + goalkeeper).
Our High Performance Program runs alongside the spring season and uses the traditional 11v11 outdoor format.
-
7v7 field hockey follows the same rules as traditional 11v11 field hockey.
Our coaches place a strong emphasis on understanding the rules of the game, helping athletes make smarter decisions and play more effectively in game situations.
WHY PLAY SPRING FIELD HOCKEY?
Spring field hockey provides athletes with an opportunity to continue developing their skills in a competitive environment outside of the traditional fall season.
With opportunities in both 7v7 and 11v11 formats, playing spring field hockey helps athletes strengthen technical skills, improve field awareness, and develop a better understanding of outdoor game concepts.
