Our SWS Travel Teams are designed for athletes who are ready to challenge themselves through structured training and tournament play. Tryouts are held for the Winter and Spring seasons.

FALL TRAVEL TEAM

Fall Travel Teams will train to compete at Shooting Star Thanksgiving Tournament.

WINTER INDOOR TRAVEL TEAM

Indoor field hockey is a fast-paced, high-intensity version of traditional field hockey played on a smaller, hard court with sideboards. The game emphasizes quick decision-making, sharp stick skills, and close control in tight spaces.

SWS Winter Indoor Teams train from November to February, attending local and national events throughout the season.

SPRING TRAVEL TEAM

Spring field hockey is played on turf in either a 7v7 or 11v11 format, depending on age level and team structure. The season emphasizes game IQ and skill development.

U10 Age Classification: Players born after July 31, 2015, are eligible.
U12 Age Classification: Players born after July 31, 2013, are eligible.
U14 Age Classification: Players born after July 31, 2011, are eligible.
U16 Age Classification: Players born after July 31, 2009, are eligible.
U19 Age Classification: Players born after July 31, 2007, are eligible.
