SWS TRAVEL TEAMS
Sistas with Stix Field Hockey (SWS) offers travel team opportunities throughout the year for athletes who can commit to training and tournaments each season. Tryouts are offered twice a year for our Winter and Spring Seasons. Those interested must attend tryouts to be considered for our program.

Fall Travel Teams will have several practices throughout the fall season to prepare for Shooting Star Thanksgiving Tournament.

WINTER INDOOR TRAVEL TEAM

Indoor field hockey is a fast-paced, high-intensity version of traditional field hockey played on a smaller, hard court with sideboards. The game emphasizes quick decision-making, sharp stick skills, and close control in tight spaces.

SPRING TRAVEL TEAM

Spring field hockey is played on turf in either a 7v7 or 11v11 format, depending on age level and team structure. The season emphasizes game IQ and skill development.

SWS Spring Travel Teams train from March to June, while competing at local, regional, and national tournaments throughout the season.

U10 Age Classification: Players born after July 31, 2015, are eligible.
U12 Age Classification: Players born after July 31, 2013, are eligible.

U19 Age Classification: Players born after July 31, 2007, are eligible.
